Loopd.life in schools - Free Social Media Network Solution

The Tablet Academy is working with Loopd.life to provide schools with a safe and school specific, free social network solution.

Loopd.life is a private social network designed specifically for schools to raise awareness of educational opportunities and community achievements. It inspires a stronger sense of community belonging and engages students in more opportunities, events and academic pursuits.

"Student engagement and educational productivity are the foundations of our philosophy and software architecture." said Jonny Driscoll, CEO Loopd.life.

Initial research from Dr. Mark Childs from the Oxford Brooks University suggests that "Loopd.life may be the ed-tech that students have been waiting for... the response to date indicates that it has the potential to meet both student and institutional demands."

Loopd.life has been in pilot operation for 18 months and is now available for FREE to every school in the UK through the Tablet Academy. Each participating school will be provided with a native mobile and web application that is completely private to all staff, students and parents; and consists of a media-rich newsfeed for posts and events, with the ability to distribute text, documents, image and video content. Loopd.life can be set-up manually or automatically via Office 365 logins.
